NAFSA’s Global Learning Across Disciplines: STEAM’D
Thursday, October 26, 2017
Global learning isn’t limited to only the humanities. Faculty and students in the sciences, technology, math, art, and design disciplines (STEAM’D) are expected to possess global competencies that will prepare them to succeed in their increasingly globalized fields as well.
2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
International Center (Dahlberg Hall, Room 350)
30 Courtland Street SE, Atlanta, Georgia 30303
In this webinar, participants will explore models of integrating global learning into the curriculum and co-curricular activities of the STEAM'D fields to address world problems and learning goals. Presenters will discuss research evidence, curriculum, and co-curricular program design examples that support the implementation of global learning in fields outside the humanities and speak to the myriad reasons why STEAM'D students benefit from global perspectives in their fields after graduation.
Please note: You must be in attendance to view the webinar. Live-streaming links or conferencing options are unavailable. All faculty and staff are invited to attend. Space is limited, so please RSVP to secure your spot. Brown bag lunch welcome.
