The Summer Institute is a four-week program designed for international students, who will experience life in the United States by attending classes with Georgia State students and living in on-campus housing. This program is ideal for students who want to experience all that beautiful downtown Atlanta has to offer, both academically and culturally, in a convenient summer term that works well with most countries’ academic calendars.

The IEP prepares you for placement in a demanding academic environment. IEP’s courses cover the essential skill areas of academic writing, process writing & grammar, intensive reading, extensive reading, and oral communication and fluency.
