CHINESE LANGUAGE, CULTURE AND BUSINESS INITIATIVES
900 Million people speak Mandarin!
Chinese (Mandarin and all its various dialects) has the most native speakers in the world (1.3 Billion).
We support the engagement of Chinese language, culture, and business through the Office of International Initiatives in cooperation with our valued partner, Beijing Language and Culture University. Given the strong and multi-faceted links we have developed over the years, including academic collaborations, student exchange and study abroad, and its status as one of the leading institutions for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, BLCU is the ideal partner for us to build on and expand the programming and relationships that already exist at Georgia State University. Programming and staff support teaching and outreach efforts at the university and in the Atlanta community.
