About Grant Workshops

Interested in discovering helpful grant writing tips from experienced peers and experts?  IPA organizes Funding Friday workshops to support faculty’s efforts in procuring international grants that advance the university’s research and strategic goals.   These events are designed to bring representatives from international funding agencies as well as experienced awardees together to empower Georgia State faculty in their pursuit of international grant funding.

About Meet & Greets

Georgia State faculty are engaged in academic, research, and consulting activities around the world.  IPA hosts thematic Meet and Greet events to connect faculty who share common research interests together to advance the strategic goals of the university.  Mingling Monday themes vary in order to accommodate diverse potential collaboration opportunities for faculty from all of the Georgia State campuses.

About our IEW Event

In support of the university’s strategic goal to enhance the global competency of students, faculty, and staff, IPA has hosted an annual trivia event for the past six years: “Are You Smarter than a Georgia State Professor?” during Georgia State’s International Education week. This signature event is designed to promote international education and engagement, as teams of students and staff challenge Georgia State professors through fun and interactive internationally theme trivia.
