Tristan Rodenhauser is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where she received her Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs Administration. She found her passion working with students as an undergraduate student leader supporting the department of University Recreation: Outdoor Programming. This opportunity propelled her towards a faculty-led leadership focused study abroad experience to New Zealand in 2010. While completing her M.A., she worked with ASU’s Office of International Education and Development while also assisting several student organizations across campus to enhance their student leadership models. She developed a passion for learning about the impacts of culture/society on higher education models and student success through a faculty-led course on comparative student services to the United Kingdom. She seeks connect student’s passions to a study abroad opportunity, while encouraging them to use their experience as a catalyst towards exploring a world of opportunities which lay outside their comfort zones.
